Our morning destination was Trader's Village, a large new flea market venue that also includes carny style food and rides. We were some of the earliest people in the parking lot and found that only a relatively few of the vendors were open. Still, we managed to find some bargains on things that we "needed" and had a nice long walk in the process. When we left two hours later, the parking lot had filled considerably and the air as well as the atmosphere was starting to warm.
In the afternoon Niki and Chad brought their families over for fajitas and some family togetherness. Chad and Tracy have a brand new baby, Luke, and I was able to hold that sweet little bundle until he decided that it was time to take care of some business and he became very intent upon it. Mama to the rescue! Sorry, but I have totally forgotten how to change those diapers (wink, wink). Salute to the Texan Authiers, and we hope to see all of you in Vivian next summer for the big 90th birthday party for the guy responsible for all of this, Frenchy!
