Julie showed me a beautiful snow globe of Austin that she had bought at Saks Fifth Avenue. When I mentioned to Laura that I would like to look for one, she said that the Saks in Austin was going out of business, and we should make a trip there to see their sale items (which might be affordable at 70% off). Unfortunately, all that remained was store furniture and fixtures. Laura was in the market, though, for wheels for the DI set, and we scored on four wheels attached to an interesting cart plus a bag of four matching wheels, all of which totaled fifteen dollars. Voila!
I discovered a forest of mannequins in one area of the shop that intrigued me,so of course--photos, instagram, publishing. Apparently no one shares my enthusiasm for these shots because there are no "likes" on them. See what YOU think!
I take that back. Laura likes my photos on Instagram. Maybe you just had to be there.
