Eastside Austin

Quinn's acting class is in a little theater on Austin's East Side. Some areas are being gentrified, some areas are just plain run down, but they all have that funkiness that contributes to the "weird" Austin vibe. So many photo ops entice one here, but you have to be fast with the camera when you are just driving through like we were this morning. My favorite quick snap was of the green-haired girl speeding past us on her bicycle, apparently on her way to class with the big book bag on her back.
