Dressing Miss Liberty

One side of the DI set is complete. The other side will become a laboratory. Somehow the Statue of Liberty figures into the story also. Today we went shopping for her clothing at the Goodwill store after getting our strength up by indulging in dim sum at our favorite Chinese place. We found a perfectly proportioned nightgown for the lady which paired with a strategically draped sheet (and somehow painted) will mimic the graceful folds of her Romanesque garb. Her arms and hands are in the works. When I arrived this morning, they were drying in the oven. Quinn has some good ideas about how to make her torch with a light inside. Lady Liberty is moving to a new home for work in the next few days so she won't be run over during the big move this week.
