Destination Imagination--or Bust

The journey has begun for Laura and Quinn and their Destination Imagination team. Last year they ended at the Global competition in Tennessee so this year the expectations are high. Quinn is mostly involved in the dramatic part of the challenge which includes writing and producing the play. He and one of the girls on the team have been working diligently on the set. It began as two large pieces of cardboard (their budget is $100), added some PVC pipe, and then the real imagination kicked in. Paint, glitter, duct tape, and IMAGINATION. This isn't quite the finished product, but you can see the progress. The head on the Statue of Liberty makes a 360 degree turn somewhere in there. I can hardly wait to see the results!
