Critters on the Loose!

We arrived home to find that Quinn and the neighbor girls had the critters out in the grass for an outing. Molly and Delilah , the guinea pigs, enjoyed the grass but in a very stationary way. Maybe they are too fat to move. We thought they would be choice little morsels for any predators hanging around , but the children put them away before that could happen. Tootsie loves the outdoors and is more accustomed to temporary freedom. She also has more natural protection. Then there is Sid the hedgehog. He is so darn cute but is rarely seen because he is nocturnal and spends his days burrowed deeply into his nest in his cage. Here he was, though, in the light of day and seeming to enjoy himself. At least he wasn't using his little predator repellant of throwing up on himself. Handle with care!
