Catherine and Peter (plus son Sawyer and exchange student Chinwan ) returned from their trip so some shifting was in order. We moved back to the hotel and Laura and Ken moved into the guest house. Times called for one last party to celebrate the New Year. We toasted 2013 and then wrote our wishes on delicate paper which was then rolled up, lit, and released to fly into the air outside.
Finally, we were entertained by Juan on the hurdy-gurdy and Sharon on the accordian. Just the proper way to start off the year--good friends, good food, good music mixed with tradition and a bit of alcohol!
Quinn didn't quite make the end of the party. We will let those sleeping dogs lie.
