Revisiting an Old Favorite, Bisbee, AZ

The last time we were here, we stayed at the famous (for vintage trailer people) Shady Dell. This time we are parked in a sweet little trailer park right next to the Queen Mine, overlooking the great open pit which is no longer worked. Copper was once king here. Now the town is a bit artsy with a few galleries and classy antique shops. It has a seamy undertone though with unsavory characters as well as odd characters hanging around. Anchoring the downtown is a beautiful mining museum that is associated with the Smithsonian. Brr, though, it is cold tonight!

  1. Look at that beautiful blue sky! The bumper sticker made me laugh out loud! Sounds like the same crowd you might find in Madrid, NM.
