The Griswold Christmas RV Style

A certain club of RV'ers sets up here every year with the express purpose of creating a Christmas display. At one time the purpose was to win the light display contest sponsored by the park. Eventually everyone else dropped out of the contest. Now they just do it for, I think, the sheer exuberance of the excess. They work for many days, adding more and more, until the grand finale this
weekend. Every evening they all sit in big circles out in their street, a little Christmas community of pseudo-elves resting after the day of North Pole construction. Except for the Jewish Hanukah display, all is secular in nature.
