Setting out on the Adventure

The view from my side

November 15th was the long-anticipated day when we packed up our Coachmen motor home and drove away from South Dakota for the winter.  Ahead was the long drive down the barren plains of Nebraska, eastern Colorado and eastern New Mexico.  That was just the prelude to the real trip which would begin in Albuquerque, New Mexico, stop in Scottsdale, Arizona, and then progress to San Diego, California, where the first coastal point would be put on our adventure map of 2012-2013.
