ABQ to Scottsdale

We spent the weekend with Tamara. Scrabble was the game of choice. Tamara's cats Penny and Grendel the shy have a new and very fashionable cat tree. On Tuesday we three headed out in the motor home for Scottsdale. It was a mundane trip until we embarked on the short cut from Holbrook to Scottsdale and discovered that we had to cross several ranges of mountains before descending into the Valley. Still, it was a spectacular drive and the sunset compensated for the harsh climb.
