Killing Us Softly

  Last week we intended to go to the movie Killing Them Softly but we were a week too soon; the movie didn't open until Nov. 30th.  Today, therefore, we were some of the first people to line up for opening day.  My assessment:  A gangster movie with pretensions of being a political commentary, this movie contains long periods of graphic sex talk punctuated with appalling bursts of violence.  See the trailer.  It contains the best scenes.  Brad Pitt is worth watching and is the only eye candy in the film.  He also delivers the only memorable line , the last line of the movie.  Thumbs down on this one.
